Birmingham City have made a bid in the region of £3.5m for Bristol City defender Aden Flint, according to Sky Sports.

Blues have already seen two bids rejected for the towering centre half and it was thought that a potential deal was fading away.

However, with the transfer deadline looming, Blues have returned with a fresh offer on the table.

  • Harry,Harry, you have been chasing after Flint all summer. You stated your interest in him was over after the last rejected offer. This offer has also been rejected and if I were Bristol City chairman I doubt I would accept £3.5 million. You are selling Shotton for £3 million,if your intent is to buy better than we already have ( and just lost ) you will have to stump up a lot more.Flint is not worth their stupid asking price of £10 million however no way were you going to land him at £3.5 million.
If TTA are not backing you as you thought you should walk away.If they are backing you then please don’t use the excuse that this is not the team you wanted, after all like all other managers you have had all summer to assemble your squad, crying out to the press does you no favours. It’s a results industry and if you have been backed it’s on your head to deliver. You are well liked by the fan’s however be warned that could quickly change if this turns out to be another repeat of trying to dodge relegation again.
