Reports: Blues have bid rejected for striker

Preston North End have rejected a £2.5m bid from Blues for striker Jordan Hugill, reports claim.

It was rumoured a couple of weeks ago that Blues were showing an interest in the 25-year-old and Harry Redknapp looks to be stepping up his pursuit.

Wolves and Sunderland have also been linked with the man who scored 12 Championship goals last season and it remains to be seen if Blues will return with a second offer.

The player is said to be interested in a move to St. Andrew’s.
