Reported Birmingham City target left out of FA Cup squad

Reported Birmingham City target Zach Clough has been left out of the Bolton Wanderers squad for today’s trip to Eastleigh, according to the Sun’s Alan Nixon.

It is believed that there is a ‘large’ bid on the table for the 20 year old and with him previously being linked with a move to B9, reports suggest that he could soon be on his way to St.Andrews.

Wanderers have really struggled this season and they now face a winding up order with £2 million worth of debt to pay off and it looks as though selling some of their best players is the only way that they are going to be able to clear it.

However, the72.co.uk are reporting that Bristol Cityare leading the way and thst they are the ones who have bid for Clough but it is also strongly believed that Blues are working on a package to bring the youngster to the club.

Clough would be a very welcome addition to the Blues side who lost Demarai Gray earlier in the week and with them now having some money to spend, we wouldn’t rule out a move for the young prospect.

A bid in the region of £750,000 is believed to be the price that Bolton are looking for and it is no surprise that several clubs in the top two divisions are fighting it out for his signature, but can Blues get in there before anyone else?
