Report: Long-running saga set to end as young ace passes medical at new club

|

And that, it would appear is that.

Having been linked with a move away from St Andrew’s for the best part of a year, it looks as if the Jude Bellingham saga is finally at an end according to the latest reports.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted out yesterday that Jude Bellingham has completed his move to German side Borussia Dortmund after his medical came back ‘ok’ and the contract was signed, with BBC West Midlands journalist Richard Wilford adding that he will return and be available for Blues’ final two games of the season.

Details of the exact fee, as well as any bonuses, add-ons or if he will return to the club on loan in the future will more than likely come out at a later date when the deal is officially completed.

Do you wish we could have held onto Bellingham a little longer?

Yes

No

It’s just a shame that we didn’t get to see him off properly, instead his last appearance could well come in front of an empty St Andrew’s against Derby County on the final day of the season.

The question now will be what is to become of the money that we will get for his services. Will it go directly towards paying off some of the enormous debt that the club has accumulated, or if it will go towards bringing in some new players, which judging by our league finishes over the past few campaigns, is something we are going to need a lot of.

What about you? What do you make of this Bellingham news?
