Birmingham’s youth talent remains strong, going from great player to great player. So is there more to come next season?

It is becoming quite expected that Birmingham are able to produce some exciting talents through their academy. Lee Clark in his latest interview has hinted that he will use the youngsters if there are even more to come.

Birmingham have been able to produce key players for their first team over the past 5 years. Players such as Nathan Redmond played against his home town club just last week.

Young Demarai Gray is now the centre of attention as Birmingham look to develop him into a star. The club has already had to fend off interest for him.

‘it is the lifeblood and when we get gems like young Demarai they get courted very, very quickly.

“And for me as manager that gets very, very frustrating.’

It would also seem that the next graduates are quite possibly getting ready to come through into the team over the next few seasons.

As Birmingham are not in a financial position to go out and recruit top talent, this will be music to the fans ears. As to exactly when these players will come through is not clear. But it could come later this season for Reece Brown who is playing well for Notts County.

In addition to Reece, Koby Arthur also had a storming loan spell last time out at Cheltenham and looks set to burst onto the scene after he gets over his tight hamstring problem.
