You can’t please some people can you.
In an attempt to get the fans fired up ahead of this weekend’s game, the club dipped into the archives to deliver a ‘blast from the past’, and my word was it a blast. They even added some extra motivating words to it by demanding that fans ‘raise the roof’.
They decided to dip into the archives and go for Jacques Maghoma’s goal from last season’s victory over Stoke City on Boxing Day. The Blues eventually ran out 2-0 winners, but it was the Congolese man’s goal that stole the headlines that day.
However, far from using this as a chance to reminisce as they did with Cameron Jerome’s goal last week, they instead took the time to turn on the club and criticise their recent performances.
We will raise the roof if you don’t park the bus from minute 1

Big difference, we pressed the ball 30 yards from their goal not 30 yards from ours like this season

Depends if Stoke are a “decent side” with “quality players” and play with “confidence” if they show any of that we might aswell not bother again because the #SpanishCotterill will only use it an excuse for us not winning, not fighting, shooting or stringing 3passes together

I wonder how many 30-yard screamers it takes for people to forget a string of bad results? Someone should really look into that.
