Chelsea have given midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek the green light to leave Stamford Bridge on loan this month which has sparked interest from a number of clubs, including Birmingham City.
The 20 year-old is highly rated at Chelsea and broke into the first team two seasons ago. Over that time he has made 24 first team appearances but has only featured for Antonio Conte on three occasions. Now the current Premier League leaders are willing to let him gain experience at another club.
Blues boss Gianfranco Zola recently spoke of his desire to use his relationship with Chelsea to sign a couple of their players on loan and Loftus-Cheek is thought to be one of the potential names.
The availability of the sought after youngster will also alert Premier League clubs looking to bolster their midfield.
