Premier League Clubs Queue up for Gray

A whole host of clubs have been linked with Demarai Gray over the past 24 hours following a sensational first half hatrick against Reading.

In addition to Dimmy’s talent is that Birmingham players are certainly viewed as easy pickings for anyone with more than a million pounds to spend on a youngster.

Newcastle and Arsenal are the two main names I have seen banded around. I would imagine Gray needs to show some extra quality to make a move to London in the red of Arsenal but it is possible after all.

A more likely destination for him is going to be a club like Newcastle. Who have been hovering around him since the summer. What I found hilarious is one story quotes that Lee Clark has tipped Newcastle off about Grays potential.

Well I’m sure they have a tv screen and someone at the club has watched the Football League Show and seen him play. Funny stuff as usually, some stories really do write themselves don’t they.

It is no secret Gray is becoming a very good footballer, will he go in January? maybe. Will he go in the Summer? very likely.

Birmingham now are under the management of Mr Pavlakis and we simply don’t know how he handles player sales just yet. What we do know is that Blues sold Adeyemi because he asked to leave, otherwise it would have been a no on that one.

But Gray is going to command more than a poxy £1 million from a recently relegated Cardiff. He’s going to be nearer and Redmond fee and I’m hoping it will be more – we were ripped off for him.

Again, as with so many transfer stories, it is a waiting game and a constant supply of lies and puff from some journalists desperate for a story.

Should an interesting club come along, Gray will possibly ask to leave as have the others. It will be for the good of his career, but will it be fair to Birmingham’s bank balance?
