Lots of Blues fans have been reacting to the latest news surrounding a certain midfielder at the club.
Amongst all the doom and gloom over what may or indeed what may not happen in regards to the Coronavirus and whether or not this weekend’s West Midlands Derby against West Bromwich Albion is even going to take place, there is something for the Blues fans to celebrate.
It was announced on Wednesday that Dutch midfielder Maikel Keiftenbeld has had his contract extended at the club for another season.
Will Kieftenbeld have a huge part to play going forward?

The 29-year-old had been out of action for the best part of a year following his ACL injury during the last campaign, but is slowly making his way back into the swing of things under Pep Clotet.
So when the news came out, there were plenty of Blues fans that were delighted with the news, with a few more saying that a one-year extension wasn’t enough and that a complete new deal should have been signed instead.
