Pennant Not For Sale

Karren Brady has rubbished reports that Jermaine Pennant will be signing for Liverpool, or anyone else for that matter.

After many rumours speculating that Pennant was on the verge of a £3.5 million move to Liverpool Karren Brady said:

‘We want to get out of this division as soon as possible. Therefore we will be buying players and not selling them as our aim is to go into the Championship with the best squad in the league.’

Furthermore Brady stated that Liverpool Chief Exec Rick Parry had not been in touch over the player and that obviously should any contact come, it would be flatly refused.
