When I said that this would be the ideal time to play Derby, yeah about that.
Despite a spirited comeback in the second half, the Blues were defeated 3-2 at Pride Park.
The game couldn’t have got off to a worse start as Chris Martin put the home side ahead inside two minutes, but Blues fans weren’t in a state of panicking just yet. Oh wait, these guys were.
Awful defending, and worse goalkeeping. Genuinely atrocious. Lose this and there need to be changes on and off the pitch.

Pep out

The Blues did have the odd chance to get back into the game, however they couldn’t find the breakthrough and went into half-time 1-0 down.
Remember when we were good? No neither

Things went from bad to worse for the Blues as the second-half got underway as they found themselves 2-0 down within five minutes of the restart.
Pathetic

However it wasn’t long before they were back in the game as Gary Gardner headed home from a corner.
Now wake up
— Ben Hancocks (@ben_hancocks) September 28, 2019
And wake up they did as not long after, the scores were level as Ivan Sunjic scored his first goal for the club.
I don’t believe it ???????????????????? Gardner & Sunjic scoring goals ????… please keep it up Blues and the appalling start will be forgiven ????⚪️????⚪️????

The Blues were presented with a golden chance to complete the comeback, when they were awarded a penalty hower Lukas Jutkiewicz saw his effort saved by the Derby keeper to keep the scored level.
Why is Juke taking pens? Hes missed before! Give it to Gimenez!!

SHOULD HAVE TAKEN IT WITH HIS HEAD
— Danny Darko (@BluenoseDanny) September 28, 2019
And it would end up costing them as the hosts managed to take the lead once again less than five minutes later.
Where was the defence
— Thomas (@Thomas_Bcfc_) September 28, 2019
That however was all she wrote, as the Blues fell to their second consecutive defeat.
At the end of the day neither Pep or the defence should be let back on the coach
