Birmingham City Football Club have today announced that they are seeking fans help to try and stop the council putting parking permits in place on match days.

The new ruling that Birmingham City Council are trying to implement will mean that anybody who usually parks around the ground will no longer be able to do so, unless they are a local resident who has one of these permits.

In a meeting with the club, officials decided that it was time to get supporters involved and Blues are now urging fans to back their case!

The ruling is set to close on the 16th of November, which is only a few days away and despite the club having many remarks against the new proposed permits, they are hopeful that with the continued support of their fans, the council will hopefully stop this ludicrous idea.

Below, we have included the details of the council official that fans need to contact in order to support the club. If the plans affect you or you want to have a say on the matter, please get in touch immediately!

To do this you can write to Anne Shaw, Acting Assistant Director Transportation and Connectivity, Birmingham City Council, PO Box 16719, Birmingham B2 2GA or email transport.projects@birmingham.gov.uk

Blues fans, are you going to be affected by this supposed change? If you are, let us know how it will affect you and if it is going to change anything about your match day experience!
