The Board of Birmingham International Holdings are set to meet to pass the accounts of the previous financial year.

It would appear that sources close to OftenPartisan.co.uk have confirmed that Peter Pannu is to leave the board of Birmingham City Football Club altogether on September 30.

This could signal the end of any involvement from Pannu in terms of direct contact with St Andrews. It also may be clear that this move was already coming as he hasn’t been at the forefront of dealings in the Midlands for some time now.

BIHL are to have a board meeting to approve the accounts for the previous financial year that appear to be somewhat late, given that financial year finished in April.

Regardless of what goes on at the meeting, Blues fans are resigned to the fact that this road to a sale is to be a long one and will possibly rejoice in the small positive that is no more Peter Pannu.

It is no secret that Pannu’s relationship with the Birmingham faithful is at an all time low and the move to install Panos Pavlakis as the figurehead in Birmingham was a calming move by BIHL.

Birmingham continue to lack that extra bit of quality that they have been used to for the past 15 years as the club has been reassembled on BIHL’s shoestring budget.
