Ex-QPR chairman Gianni Paladini is fronting a consortium that has made a formal offer for Birmingham City according to BBC WM.

The offer is said to be £30 million, five million higher than the last bid they made which was turned down.

The club is not officially up for sale and part-owner Carson Yeung is waiting to stand trial on money laundering charges, but Peter Pannu has let it be known that the club are seeking new investment.
