Lee Camp didn’t cover himself in glory for the two goals that Forest scored on Saturday. I would say that neither were glaring mistakes, but that other higher calibre goalkeepers would likely have done better.
It’s a strange situation when you know that your first choice really isn’t your best keeper, but Garry Monk has stuck to his guns in regards to both David Stockdale and Tomasz Kuszczak.
Fans on Twitter were clearly frustrated at Camp’s inability to keep either goal out:
Camp out of his depth his reactions too. Should have done better second goal.

Stockdale obviously the better keeper but hysteria about Camp is ridiculous.

2nd goal was poor from camp. But we lost our shape last 10. Brought it on ourselves

Trueman would of saved that! Game has been lost in central midfield after their first goal went in they have been awful

And y not, Lee Camp had nothing to do and he makes to mistakes you wouldn’t expect a Sunday morning parks team goalie to make

Only poor decision monk has made

Some were calling for Stockdale to be recalled:
Camp was like a 7year old for the 2nd goal pushing it into danger area , got to bring back @stockogk1313

Stockdale or Camp is a no brainer on ability.

Did you watch the game? Beaten near post for the first and second though his legs! Stockdale would have saved both of them

For Joe Lolley’s strike, it was a powerful hit from the substitute but Camp’s right hand just wasn’t strong enough. For the second, his initial save should have gone wide of the goal, but he then compounded things be being beaten at his near post.
As I’ve said, neither are clangers but you do get a feeling a more capable/agile shot-stopper would have perhaps done better.
