Luke Turner thinks Blues have the perfect upcoming fixture to bounce back from last weeks defeat…

After last Saturday`s 2-1 home defeat to play off rivals Sheffield Wednesday, Blues have the perfect opportunity to bounce straight back when they travel to Rotherham.

I think the Millers are the ideal opponents for Blues after they have just sacked manager Neil Redfearn and picked up just one point in their last four games.

Their last two home games have also seen them lose by heavy margins, 4-1 to Charlton and 3-0 to QPR.

Redfearn left Rotherham occupying the final relegation spot so they are in great danger of losing their Championship status.

They are desperate for a win but simply leak too many goals (55) and have lost more games than any other Championship side this season (19).

Blues, on the other hand, have lost just two in eleven and will be looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to the New York Stadium.

They will also be backed by a sold out away end which will no doubt have a massive influence on the teams performance.

Ultimately, Rotherham are a side low on confidence after losing their last two games to the two teams currently below them, Charlton and Bolton.

I think the game presents a great opportunity for the likes of Jon Toral and Jacques Maghoma to roam around, pick the ball up in dangerous areas and run at their defence.

What Blues must do this time around is be clinical in front of goal. I am sure there will be plenty of openings for us so we have to take our chances when they come to us.

Gary Rowett will, presumably, let his players know that it won’t be all that straight forward for them and one thing we must not do is underestimate Rotherham.
