The penultimate article in The Big Build Up to the Aston Villa game on Tuesday night sees me have a crack at predicting how both sides will line up come 7:45pm.

I know it is always difficult to predict how the Blues are going to line up and now I have made even more of a challenge for myself by trying to predict how Tim Sherwood’s side are going to start.

Both sides will more than likely put out very strong line ups as there is a lot at stake but I think there will be a few changes from either side following the weekends results.

To start with, my predicted line up for the home side is below. I have also included the seven substitutes, which I will also do for the Blues.

GK- Guzan
RB- Bacuna
CB- Richards
CB- Lescott
LB- Amavi
CDM- Veretout
CDM- Sanchez
RAM- Sinclair
CAM- Agbonlahor
LAM- Grealish
ST- Ayew

Subs: Bunn, Hutton, Gestede, Gil, Westwood, Gueye, Cole.

I have made three changes to the Villa side which fell to defeat on Saturday against West Bromwich Albion.

Bringing in the likes of Ayew, Bacuna and Veretout for Westwood, Gil and Hutton.

Now for the one most fans will have been waiting for! The Blues line up that I would start with for the game against Villa, along with the seven subs!

GK- Kuszczak
RB- Caddis
CB- Morrison
CB- Spector
LB- Grounds
CDM- Kieftenbeld
CDM- Gleeson
RAM- Cotterill
CAM- Toral
LAM- Gray
ST- Donaldson

Subs: Legzdins, Robinson, Hancox, Davis, Maghoma, Shinnie, Brock-Madsen.

I have made two changes to the side that drew 1-1 on Friday away at Ipswich Town.

Bringing in Paul Caddis at right back for the injured Neil Eardley and Jon Toral for Andy Shinnie because I think Toral is the stronger of the two attacking midfielders.

Blues fans, what starting XI would you go with for the game against Aston Villa? Who would you like to see start against Sherwood’s side? Let us know in the comment section down below!
