For the second time this season, Blues head into a derby fixture high on confidence and expecting to get something out of the game.

In the first derby of the season against neighbours Aston Villa, Blues will feel they were very unlucky in the game, because they were.

But Gary Rowett’s men will head into Saturday’s fixture against a Wolves side with even higher expectations from both the players and the fans.

Looking at the game, I feel it is a game that can be won comprehensively, but only if we field the right team. Rowett has to get the dynamics right in this one if we are to walk away with the points.

Against Hull City last weekend, I feel the inclusion of David Davis would have been a better choice in midfield instead of Jonathan Spector, but then again, I am not the manager.

But, if I were the manager for the game against Wolves, down below is the side that I would send out, along with the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Robinson
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CM: Davis
CM: Kieftenbeld
CM: Gleeson
RW: Cotterill
ST: Donaldson
LW: Gray

Subs: Legzdins, Spector, Shinnie, Maghoma, Toral, Solomon-Otabor, Brock-Madsen.

I feel that having the midfield trio that rotated so well in the game against Queens Park Rangers will once again benefit us in this game and I have a feeling it will be a tactic that Rowett will once again deploy.

Also, I have opted to bring David Cotterill in for Jacques Maghoma because I think his set piece quality could be a massive swing in this game and one that Blues could capitalise on.

I also believe that Maghoma will serve better as an impact player in this game and I think Rowett will think along the same lines.

Blues fans, what do you make of my predictions? Do you think I am right to make two changes? Let us know what you think, along with your starting XI’s, down in the comment section below!
