Following the bitterly disappointing defeat to promotion chasing Leeds United on Friday evening, Birmingham City will be hoping they can turn things round this evening by picking up three points against struggling side Wigan Athletic.

The Latics are currently second bottom in the Championship table and they are four points away from safety, but Blues can’t go into the game expecting to win it by four or five goals. They can’t become complacent.

Blues will be hoping to build on what was an encouraging performances against Leeds on Friday night, with Che Adams, Emilio Nsue and Cheick Keita continuing to impress.

The game against Wigan is the perfect one to bounce back from that defeat and with Gianfranco Zola likely to make some changes, down below is the line up that I think we will see this evening…

GK: Kuszczak
RWB: Nsue
CB: Dacres-Cogley
CB: Shotton
CB: Robinson
LWB: Keita
CM: Gardner
CM: Kieftenbeld
CM: Davis
ST: Adams
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Legzdins, Grounds, Bielik, Gleeson, Stewart, Frei and Sinclair.

Blues fans, what do you make of the line up that has been predicted? Do you agree with the formation? Would you bring Lukas Jutkiewicz back in and leave Jonathan Grounds on the bench? Let us know in the comment section down below.

In addition, for those of you who aren’t heading to the game, make sure you check us out on Twitter @VitalBirmingham.
