Birmingham City are busy preparing to take on Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night in a game that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports for fans who aren’t attending the game.

Gianfranco Zola’s side recorded their first win since the Italian took over at St.Andrews on Saturday as they beat Fulham 1-0 thanks to a Lukas Jutkiewicz winner and Zola will be hoping for more of the same when they take on the Owls on Friday.

Blues played with much more power and presence in the game against eh Cottagers, despite being without a few first team players and Zola confirmed in his pre-match press conference that they would be missing once against.

Captain Michael Morrison has had surgery on his groin injury which means he will be out for around three weeks. Ryan Shotton will also miss the next two, possibly three games through injury, along with Jacques Maghoma.

Down below is the team that I think Zola will name along with the substitutes…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Nsue
CB: Robinson
CB: Grounds
LB: Keita
CM: Davis
CM: Gardner
CM: Gleeson
RW: Sinclair
ST: Jutkiewicz
LW: Frei

Substitutes: Legzdins, Dacres-Cogley, Scarr, Kieftenbeld, Tesche, Adams, Stewart.

Blues fans, would you be happy to see this team line up on Friday night? Let us know in the comment section down below!
