Saturday sees Birmingham City welcome Sheffield Wednesday to St.Andrews in what is a crucial game for both sides.

Both sides drew their previous fixture and they will be looking to get back to winning ways at the weekend in a game that could define who gets into the top six and who just misses out.

A last minute win for fellow play-off chasers Ipswich Town on Tuesday night saw the Tractor Boys leapfrog both teams and they now sit ahead of the Owls and the Blues.

However, something that is sure to be playing in the back of Birmingham City minds is the fact that Sheffield Wednesday are the only side this season to score three goals against them in a single game and I am sure Gary Rowett will want to put that right.

In recent weeks, Blues have taken massive points off the likes of Brentford and Ipswich at home as well as Derby County away and it has seen them extend their unbeaten run in the league to six games which is sure to fill the squad with confidence.

Down below is the side that I would personally send out against Sheffield Wednesday because I think they could pick us up the points we really need.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Robinson
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Buckley
CAM: Fabbrini
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Spector, Shotton, Davis, Toral, Somolon-Otabor, Vaughan.

I have made two changes to the side that drew 0-0 against Bristol City last weekend with Diego Fabbrini coming in for Jon Toral who I suspect may not be 100% fit and then Jacques Maghoma in for David Davis because I believe we need that pace going forward.

Blues fans, do you agree with the side that has been predicted this week? What would your team be? Let us know in the comment section down below!
