Birmingham City are busy preparing for this weekends game against Queens Park Rangers as Gianfranco Zola goes in search of what would be only his second win in 14 games.

Blues won their last home game against Fulham 1-0 and the Italian will be hoping that his side can replicate that result to try and lift spirits around the club.

Since taking over in December, rather than carry the club forward, Zola seems to have attached an anchor to everything and he is currently dragging us back down to where we used to be under Lee Clark.

Although he has made a change to how things are run at the football club, the playing style just hasn’t sunk in and the excuses will soon dry up, not just for Zola but for the board as well.

QPR haven’t won away since December 31st against Wolverhampton Wanderers so Blues will be hoping that run continues on Saturday.

Down below is the starting XI I think Zola could name along with the seven substitutes…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Nsue
CB: Bielik
CB: Grounds
LB: Keita
CM: Kieftenbeld
CM: Tesche
CM: Gleeson
CAM: Frei
ST: Adams
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Legzdins, Shotton, Robinson, Dacres-Cogley, Stewart, O’Keefe, Sinclair.

Blues fans, what do you make of this weeks predicted line up? Would you be happy to see Gianfranco Zola name that side on Saturday? Let us know in the comment section down below!
