Birmingham City are busy preparing themselves for the visit of Preston North End on Tuesday night and Gary Rowett’s side looks like it will have some changes in it following a fourth defeat in the last five games on Saturday afternoon.

Jacques Maghoma put in a star performance against promotion favourites Burnley at the weekend but his second half goal wasn’t enough to stop the Clarets taking away all three points from St.Andrews.

There will be one definite change to the starting line up with Arsenal loanee Jon Toral being suspended following his 94th minute red card on Saturday and Rowett has hinted that Diego Fabbrini may be handed his second start of the season.

Personally, I think there won’t be many changes to the side that narrowly lost once again at the weekend but I would go as far to say that there will be more than just the one change to this weeks starting XI.

Down below is the side that I would send out to face tenth placed Preston along with the substitutes bench…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Shotton
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Fabbrini
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Spector, Solomon-Otabor, Davis, Buckley, Lafferty, Vaughan.

As you can see in the team above I have made three changes to the side that lost to Sean Dyche’s men at the weekend.

I have opted to bring Tomasz Kuszczak back into the starting line up ahead of Adam Legzdins who has played the previous three matches. I have also brought Stephen Gleeson back into the side in place of David Davis and the earlier mentioned Fabbrini has come in for the suspended Toral.

Blues fans, do you think that could be a line up that we will be seeing next season? Is it strong enough to get us our first win of the month? Let us know in the comment section down below!
