Following on from last weekend’s encouraging performance in the FA Cup against Newcastle United, Birmingham City will be looking to get their first win under Gianfranco Zola on Saturday when Nottingham Forest come to town.

With Zola’s philosophy and playing style starting to sink into the players, fans are beginning to see what life might be like under the Italian and a win against Forest this weekend would certainly be a start to settling the nerves down around the club.

As Craig Gardner returns to St.Andrews this weekend, I believe Zola will make a few changes, with one, maybe two being forced, but I don’t think he will go for wholesale changes, that may come on Wednesday night against the Magpies in the third round replay.

Down below is the side that I think Zola will pick along with the seven substitutes…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Dacres-Cogley
CB: Shotton
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CM: Davis
CM: Kieftenbeld
CM: Gleeson
RW: Fabbrini
ST: Jutkiewicz
LW: Adams

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Caddis, Gardner, Stewart, Brown, Cotterill.

Blues fans, what do you make of this weeks predicted line up? Would you stick with Jutkiewicz, Adams and Fabbrini up front? Or would you play with two up front and Fabbrini just behind them? Let us know in the comment section down below!
