Following a very impressive performance against Premier League side AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, Birmingham City head to the City Ground on Tuesday night to face Nottingham Forest.

There is no doubt that Blues boss Gary Rowett is likely to ring the changes again and I can see it being as drastic as the seven that were made in the FA Cup third round.

I predict that there will be a few familiar faces recalled to the starting XI that will play in Tuesday nights Sky Bet Championship fixture with the likes of Clayton Donaldson, Stephen Gleeson and Paul Caddis being brought back in.

Once again it will be another tough game for Rowett’s men but as always, Blues will be confident heading into the game, especially with it being away from home.

Down below is the side that I would send out to take on Forest as well as the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Robinson
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Maghoma
CAM: Shinnie
LAM: Solomon-Otabor
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Lowry, Spector, Davis, Cotterill, Toral, Vaughan.

As you can see I have made six changes to the side that lost 2-1 at the weekend and I have brought all the usual first team players back in, apart from one.

I have opted to leave Jon Toral on the bench because Andy Shinnie had a very good game on Saturday and I think Rowett may stick with him following that performance.

Like I previously said, I have brought Donaldson, Gleeson and Caddis back into the mix but I have also reinstated Jacques Maghoma to the side as well as Tomasz Kuszczak and Paul Robinson.

Blues fans, what do you make of the predicted like up for the Nottingham Forest game? Do you think we are right to leave Jon Toral on the bench? Let us know in the comment section down below!
