After the game against Bristol City at the weekend, I think manager Gary Rowett may be looking to change a few things around in the squad in order to keep things fresh.

I wouldn’t like to see too many changes but I think with a game coming up on Friday night as well, we may see more than we hope for.

For me, I can see the wingers getting changed around and possibly even the irreplaceable Clayton Donaldson as well.

Despite having brought Shane Lowry in last week, I can’t see the back four changing and following his inspired form at the start of the season, I think Tomasz Kuszczak will stay in the Blues net.

Below is the starting XI which I feel Rowett will put out against Forest as well as the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Spector
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Toral
LAM: Shinnie
ST: Brock-Madsen

Subs: Legzdins, Eardley, Robinson, Gray, Maghoma, Davis, Donaldson.

As you can see, I have replaced Demarai Gray with Andy Shinnie, Jacques Maghoma with David Cotterill and Clayton Donaldson with Nicolai Brock-Madsen.

For me, this game is the perfect time to try out a different system. I would personally give Donaldson a rest and use him in the last 20 minutes of the game and I would try out the option of Brock-Madsen up front.

Blues fans, what do you make of my changes? Do you agree with them? If not, why don’t you agree with them? What would be your starting XI? Let us know in the comment section down below!
