Birmingham City travel to MK Dons on Saturday for what looks set to be a great game.

The club have announced that nearly 4,000 fans will be travelling down south to support the Blues, which I have to say is fantastic as it always is.

With Gary Rowett’s side now on an unbeaten run which stretches back to eight games ago, I am sure he will want to keep on winning and keep the unbeaten mentality going.

Having won six and drawn two of those eight games, Rowett will be hoping to add another win to the pile and I believe he will name a strong side.

After announcing in his pre match conference on Friday that he has a clean bill of health, I can’t see why he wouldn’t name a full strength side.

Below is the team that I would personally field against Karl Robinson’s MK Dons.

GK- Kuszczak
RB- Caddis
CB- Spector
CB- Morrison
LB- Grounds
CDM- Kieftenbeld
CDM- Gleeson
RAM- Cotterill
CAM- Toral
LAM- Gray
ST- Brock-Madsen

Subs: Legzdins, Robinson, Eardley, Shinnie, Davis, Maghoma, Donaldson.

I know a lot of fans with argue, why have you taken Donaldson out, he is the heart of the team!

The reason I have taken him out is because of his lack of goals in the first five games of the season. Understandably he hasn’t played in two of those but the chances that he has missed, especially the header against Derby County, he needs to be putting those away.

For me, the game against the Dons is the perfect time to test out the new lad Nicolai Brock-Madsen and see if he has what it takes to make an immediate impact on the squad.

Blues fans, what do you make of my selection? Do you think I am right to leave Donaldson out of the starting XI and Wes Thomas out of the subs? What would your starting XI be? Let us know in the comment section down below!
