Ooh look, yet another tough Championship fixture for Gary Rowett’s men! This time, in the shape of promotion rivals Middlesbrough.

Aitor Karanka’s side have been in fine form in recent weeks, and besides a blimp against Hull City a few weeks back, the look to be one of the best inform sides in the league.

Blues are sure to have their work cut out when they visit the Riverside on Saturday, but could we surprise a few fans around the country with another fantastic away performance?

Personally, I think it is going to be a very tough fixture and there may be a few changes made to the side that lost against Huddersfield last time out.

Summer signing Nicolai Brock-Madsen could lose his place in the starting XI to deadline day loan signing James Vaughan and Neal Eardley could once again be pushed out of the side after the full back failed to take his opportunity last weekend.

Below is the team that I would send out to face Boro this weekend, as well as the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Spector
CB: Morrison
LB: Lowry
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
RAM: Gray
CAM: Toral
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Vaughan

Substitutes: Legzdins, Grounds, Solomon-Otabor, Shinnie, Brock-Madsen, Davis, Halford.

As it is clear to see, I have made a number of changes following last weekends disappointing result.

David Davis has lost his place in the side due to the formation being changed back to the original successful one, with Jacques Maghoma resuming his duties out on the wing.

The previously mentioned duo of Brock-Madsen and Eardley have been replaced by Paul Caddis and Vaughan, both of whom I feel will do a better job for us away from home.

One of the biggest changes that I have made is taking Jonathan Grounds out of the team. Some people may disagree with this choice but in recent weeks, Grounds has underperformed on a massive scale, this may be because he is fatiguing, but he needed to come out of the side.

Blues fans, what do you make of the team selection above? Would you change it or would you stick with it? What would your starting XI be? Let us know in the comment section down below!
