Blues take on Premier League side Leicester City on Saturday as they begin their final preparations for their league opener against Reading on the 8th of August.

The visit of the Foxes is the first of two Premier League opponents for Blues in three days as they also face Tottenham Hotspurs in a behind closed doors game on Tuesday. This game will signal the end to the clubs preseason campaign.

Heading into the fixture against Leicester, manager Gary Rowett is expecting to have a full strength squad at his disposal, as confirmed in an interview with the clubs website.

For this reason, I believe I have identified what could be the starting line up for the game against the Foxes. It is as follows:

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Spector
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CDM: Kieftenbeld
CDM: Davis
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Shinnie
LAM: Gray
ST: Donaldson

Gary Rowett has identified the game against Leicester as if it were a league game and has said that he wants to name the strongest possible team he can.

The team above could change depending on what the manager has seen in training but it is my opinion and mine only.

Including both Shinnie and Kieftenbeld might be seen as a bit bold but I think Rowett will see them as starters ahead of both Gleeson and Toral.

However, do expect a few changes throughout the game with the likes of Maghoma, Gleeson and Toral all getting vital game time.

Blues fans, do you agree with my selection? If yes, why do you agree with it? If no, then why not? Who would you change and why? Let us know in the comment section down below!
