Birmingham City are back at St.Andrews this weekend for their first home game under the management of new boss Harry Redknapp.

The 70-year-old former Tottenham Hotpsur and Portsmouth boss was appointed last Tuesday following the resignation of Gianfranco Zola on Easter Monday after Blues lost 2-0 to Burton Albion at St.Andrews.

Redknapp took charge for Blues’ game against local rivals Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, a game which Blues lost 1-0, but there were plenty of changes that could be seen in the side that narrowly lost.

I think Redknapp may make changes to the side that lost that game against Villa, but I don’t think they will be so drastic.

Down below is the side that I think he will name along with the seven substitutes…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Nsue
CB: Bielik
CB: Shotton
LB: Grounds
CM: Davis
CM: Gleeson
CM: Kieftenbeld
RW: Adams
ST: Jutkiewicz
LW: Maghoma

Substitutes: Legzdins, Dacres-Cogley, Keita, Gardner, Tesche, Stewart, Frei.

Blues fans, what do you make of the team that has been predicted? Would you drop Craig Gardner to the bench and would you bring Kerim Frei back into the 18? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!

  • Tom.Jukey must surely come out now.He is amazingly sluggish. Frei,Maghoma and Adams the lively front three.Has to be. Harry will think Defoe and speed.

  • We need to win which means we need goals which we’ve seriously been lacking, so I would put Keita on the left wing ( cos I think he’s better going forward than defending!! ), Frei on the right, Adams up front, Gardner instead of Gleeson & Juke on the transfer list!!!!!!

  • Good call-Brooklyn ..We will need goals to win , and we will need pace to do that against the Hudd , we need to do something different , we are close , iwould like to see Storer come on for the last 15 mins regulary….

  • I think Harry will go with a 4-2-3-1 system GK: Kuszczak, RFB: Nsue, CB: Bielik, CB: Shotton, LFB: Grounds. DM: Kieftenbeld, DM: Davis RW: Stewart, AMC: Adams, ALW: Maghoma, ST: Jutkiewicz.

But I agree with playing Keita, at LW.

  • WhoRya – Why on earth would you put Lukas Jutkiewicz on the transfer list! He is our top goal scorer and won’t be going anywhere. Yes he is in a bit of a draught at the moment but every striker goes through one. Hopefully he can replicate the goal he scored against Huddersfield Town earlier in the season this weekend

  • Boorklyn – I understand that Jutkiewicz has been a little sluggish lately but it doesn’t mean that he should be dropped to the bench. It is likely that Huddersfield are going to be a very physical side this weekend so having someone like Jutkiewicz in the side could be crucial for us if we want to win the game.

  • BcfcTom. Firstly, Juke has been useless since he signed on full time, second, he’s cost us serious points by missing OPEN goals & third, as our main striker we haven’t got time to wait for him to find his form, with 2 games left we need goals and he’s not even hitting the target & making the goalie work so he’s no chance of scoring. If he went out on saturday & scored & shut me up then great, but i’d put my house on that not happening.

  • tom days “Juke is in a bit of a draught” . Lol. Maybe he needs to close the window before he catches a cold.
