Birmingham City travel to Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon in their penultimate away game of the season and as the stats show, the result really could go either way.

As it stands, Blues and Town are both simply playing for pride and league positions, but that takes nothing away from the fixture, it is yet again another game where Gary Rowett’s side should be looking to grab a win.

The John Smith’s stadium has been a happy hunting ground for Blues on their last five visits with four wins and a draw under their belt and hopefully the B9 side will be able to bag their first back-to-back away wins since the 20th of October 2015.

I am predicting that there will be a few changes to the side that let a two goal lead slip on Tuesday night at St.Andrews in the 2-2 draw against Preston North End with injuries being a factor in these changes.

On loan Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral looks like he could have played his last game for the club after picking up a hamstring injury in training and Maikel Kieftenbeld looks like he could also be out for the season with a fractured eye socket.

The changes that I have made are shown below in the full starting XI along with the substitutes bench…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Shotton
LB: Grounds
CDM: Gleeson
CDM: Davis
RAM: Cotterill
CAM: Fabbrini
LAM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Adams, Solomon-Otabor, Buckley, Arthur, Lafferty.

As you can see, I have made just the one change to the actual starting XI but there a few unfamiliar faces on the bench with Charlee Adams and Koby Arthur coming in for the injured Kieftenbeld and the ineligible James Vaughan.

Blues fans, are we right to leave Kyle Lafferty on the bench again? Do you agree that the youngsters should be given a chance in the matchday 18? Let us know in the comment section down below!
