Birmingham City head into the weekends fixture against Fulham with several injury concerns that manager Steve Cotterill didn’t want to make comment on.

Although he revealed that there are injuries in the group to the likes of David Davis, Jason Lowe and Craig Gardner, he wouldn’t publicly voice who his other first team concerns were heading into the game against the Cottagers.

As worrying as that sounds, it is just something that Blues will have to get on with and Cotterill has admitted that he may look at bringing some of the under-23’s players with him this weekend, although I doubt they will start the game.

Personally I feel like he may bring Corey O’Keeffe and Josh Dacres-Cogley along with him, although I am not sure who else he has in mind.

Blues head into the game having only scored four away goals all season and during the nine games that Cotterill has been in charge the club haven’t managed to register a second half goal so spoiler alert, if the 4,000+ fans are going to be celebrating a goal in this game, it’s likely to come in the first half.

A win for the home side would see them potentially move into the top half of the table and as long as they don’t lose, they will extend their unbeaten home run to three games (one win, one draw).

Down below is the side that I think Cotterill will name along with the seven substitutes…

GK: Stockdale
RWB: Nsue
CB: Roberts
CB: Morrison
CB: Grounds
LWB: Jenkinson
CDM: Kieftenbeld
CDM: Ndoye
RW: Jota
ST: Adams
LW: Boga

Substitutes: Kuszczak, Dacres-Cogley, O’Keeffe, Cotterill, Maghoma, Gallagher, Jutkiewicz.

Blues fans, what do you make of the team that has been predicted? Is it one that can get Blues a result at the weekend? Let us know in the comment section down below!

  • Injuries now the excuse.Doesnt matter if everybody was fit,we still wouldn’t have stood a chance at Fulham. Get a manager in who has some credibility for heavens sake.
