After yet another international break where Blues had plenty of stars off representing their countries, I think we could see a few changes to the side this weekend.

Birmingham City welcome Charlton Athletic to St.Andrews on Saturday (21st) and with the likes of Clayton Donaldson and Jacques Maghoma both coming back from Jamaica and Congo respectively, I think there could be a few surprises for fans.

Despite Donaldson stating early last week that he can handle coming back from international duty because he sees other do it, personally I believe he may be rested for the game.

As for Maghoma, despite having good form before the break, especially in the game against Fulham, I think he may also have to settle for a place on the bench.

Down below is the side that I would send out against the Addicks, along with the substitutes.

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Spector
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds
CDM: Davis
CDM: Gleeson
RAM: Solomon-Otabor
CAM: Toral
LAM: Gray
ST: Brock-Madsen

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Lowry, Shinnie, Kieftenbeld, Maghoma, Donaldson.

As you can seen, I have made two changes from the side that won emphatically away at the Cottage before the international break.

Two changes that I previously talked about can be seen in the form of summer signing Nicolai Brock-Madsen coming in for Donaldson and teenage sensation Viv Solomon-Otabor coming in for Maghoma.

Following his goal on his last appearance, I think it is about time Rowett gave Solomon-Otabor the nod for a game. He is unknown at Championship level and it would be nice to see what is his capable of from the start of the game.

The same goes for Brock-Madsen. He is unknown at this level and teams may not know how to handle him from the start of the game. Personally, I believe it is time we gave him a go from the first minute.

Blues fans, what do you make of my changes? Do you agree that we should give the two youngsters a go from the off? Let us know what your thoughts are in the comment section down below!
