Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Cardiff City

Birmingham City take on Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon in yet another must win game for Gianfranco Zola and his side.

Following a shambolic performance against second bottom Wigan Athletic on Tuesday evening, where there was absolutely no desire whatsoever to go and win the game, Zola will be hoping for a meteoric response from his side, as will the fans.

At the moment, Blues fans are struggling to stay with Zola and the team who have now only won twice in the last 17 games since the Italian took over from Gary Rowett in December but can you really blame them?

Blues are falling deeper into a relegation scrap and with the Latics beating us on Tuesday night, things have got even worse and another loss this weekend would surely mean that we are candidates to go down.

The Bluebirds are currently sat in 13th spot. In their last 10 league games at home, they have scored 19 goals and won six games which means they will be a very tough opponent to break down and I am struggling to see Blues coming away with anything but a loss.

With all that said, here is my predicted line up along with the substitutes for the game against Cardiff…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Nsue
CB: Shotton
CB: Grounds
LB: Keita
CM: Davis
CM: Gleeson
CM: Kieftenbeld
CAM: Gardner
ST: Adams
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Bielik, Tesche, Stewart, Maghoma, Sinclair.

Blues fans, what do you make of the line up that has been predicted? Should Gianfranco Zola return back to four at the back or should he stick with his five? Let us know in the comment section down below!
