Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Burton Albion

Birmingham City head to the Pirelli stadium tomorrow evening to take on Burton Albion in a game that manager Harry Redknapp has described as a ‘cup final’.

Although that may seem a bit drastic with Blues having picked up four points from their opening three games, you can see where he is coming from because the club clearly aren’t where they should be at the moment.

With an opening day defeat to Ipswich Town and a drab draw against Bolton Wanderers clouding some impressive performances, Redknapp clearly wants to see his side taking more of their opportunities when they get them.

As injuries have hit, Blues have really shown that they are down to the bare bones of the squad and Redknapp is looking increasingly frustrated with the lack of activity that is going on at the moment.

Despite Luton Town striker Isaac Vassell coming into the club earlier this week, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager clearly isn’t happy with where his squad is at the moment.

Midfielders Cheikh Ndoye and David Davis have gotten over their respective injuries and captain Michael Morrison will play with a face mask after breaking his nose on Tuesday evening.

With all that in mind, here is the starting 11 I think Redknapp will choose to take on the Brewers tomorrow night…

GK: Stockdale

RB: Nsue
CB: Roberts
CB: Morrison
LB: Grounds

RM: Cotterill
CM: Gardner
CM: Ndoye
LM: Maghoma

CF: Vassell
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Kuszczak, Robinson, Shotton, Gleeson, Kieftenbeld, Davis, Donaldson.

Blues fans, what do you make of the side that has been predicted? Do you think it is one that can take all three points against Burton Albion? Let us know in the comment section down below!
