Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Brentford

It’s game day! You’ve got to love these days because although it may seem like they come round more often than they do, they usually go within a flash.

And luckily enough for us, Birmingham City are playing their second game in three days which is a treat for us all if I do say so myself.

With that in mind, I am sure that Gianfranco Zola will be very happy with the attacking display that his side showed in the second half of Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Barnsley at Oakwell and it will be hoping they can continue that into the game against Brentford later today.

Blues are still looking for their first win under Zola and if they could get it against the Bees then it would be a really good, positive way to start off the new year.

After the link up play between Che Adams and Lukas Jutkiewicz worked so well in the second half on Saturday, I think Zola may partner those two from the off in today’s game.

Down below is the side that I think will be named by Zola for the game against Brentford along with the seven substitutes…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Spector
CB: Morrison
CB: Shotton
LB: Grounds
RM: Cotterill
CM: Davis
CM: Gleeson
LM: Maghoma
ST: Jutkiewicz
ST: Adams

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Caddis, Brown, Fabbrini, Stewart, Kieftenbeld.

Blues fans, would you start Jutkiewicz and Adams up front together? Let us know in the comment section down below!
