Birmingham City are busy preparing for what is their second game in four days as they welcome newly-promoted Bolton Wanderers to St.Andrew’s on Tuesday evening.
Following the 2-1 comeback win against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon where Craig Gardner and Jacques Maghoma opened their accounts for the season, manager Harry Redknapp will be hoping for the same kid of spirit in the game against the Trotters.
The visitors have picked up one point in their opening two games of the new Championship season. On Saturday they drew 1-1 at the Den against Millwall and on the opening day they were narrowly defeated 3-2 against Leeds United.
Blues picked up a few injuries in the game against the Robins at the weekend and Redknapp confirmed he may have to use some of the kids for the game against Bolton, but he hasn’t revealed which ones.
Here is my prediction for who I think will be in the starting XI on Tuesday night…
GK: Stockdale
RB: Nsue
CB: Morrison
CB: Roberts
LB: Robinson
RM: Cotterill
CM: Ndoye
CM: Gardner
CM: Gleeson
LM: Maghoma
ST: Donaldson
Substitutes: Kuszczak, Harding, Dacres-Cogley, Tesche, Davis, Keita, Vassell.
As you can I have added in new signing Isaac Vassell to squad, with the 23-year-old making the bench for the game against Bolton.
Blues fans, does this predicted line up prove that we are desperate for new players? Let us know in the comment section down below!
