Opinion: Predicted line up Vs. Barnsley

As Gianfranco Zola prepares his side to face Barnsley on Saturday afternoon, the little Italian manager will have it stamped in the back of his mind that a win will certainly boost the confidence of the entire club.

Since his shock arrival earlier this month, it is well known that Zola doesn’t have the complete backing of both supporters and maybe even players, so a win is something he will be hoping he can tick off his list of things to do, along with signing a few players.

At Derby County on Tuesday afternoon Blues looked lacklustre up front with very little service finding its way to recent signing Lukas Jutkiewicz and Blues will continue to struggle if that happens every game.

There is no doubt that Blues will have to be patient to make Zola’s tactics work, but something needs to happen soon if the club want to keep up with the play-off pack or the sacking of Gary Rowett will look even worse on the boards behalf.

With that in mind, Zola really does need to change things up for the game against the Tykes this weekend. I have a feeling there may be at least two changes to the side that lost at the iPro earlier this week.

My predicted line up can be seen down below…

GK: Kuszczak
RB: Caddis
CB: Morrison
CB: Shotton
LB: Grounds
RM: Stewart
CM: Gleeson
CM: Davis
LM: Maghoma
ST: Adams
ST: Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Legzdins, Robinson, Spector, Fabbrini, Cotterill, Kieftenbeld, Brown.

Blues fans, do you think a 4-4-2 formation is something that we will see at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
