Gary Rowett’s men fell to their second successive 2-0 defeat on Saturday when they took on Wolves and the performances produced by his side will have left him feeling blue.

Personally, I felt that the way Wolves set us was very strong and they stopped Blues producing anything.

Kenny Jackett, who was under threat coming into the game, will have been pleased with how his side executed their plan because they stopped Blues playing from the off.

For me, I thought the game on Saturday was one of our worst performances this season and it just goes to show that if we go a goal down, we have very little to offer in terms of a comeback, with the exception being the game against Queens Park Rangers.

I thought that the majority of the team had poor games, with only David Davis and Tomasz Kuszczak having put in average effort. Below are the ratings that I would give each individual as well as a short sentence.

Kuszczak 7: Made a good save in the second half but could have dealt better with both goal, especially the first one.

Caddis 5: Another poor performance from the Scotsman. His efforts in recent weeks has dropped which isn’t a good sign.

Robinson 5: Had a very tough game and was largely at fault for the first goal following his misjudgement of the bounce. Time to drop him?

Morrison 6: As captain he should be organising his defence better but he handled Benik Afobe well during the game.

Grounds 6: Had a fairly quiet game with no real input throughout.

Kieftenbeld 6: Showed desire to get stuck in and try and win the ball back but in the end his efforts were not matched by anybody else in the side.

Gleeson 4: Shocking game for one of the more consistent players. Lacked any real passing threat and was non-existent in his usual role.

Davis 7: My Man of the Match. Says it all really when Davis picks up MotM despite being subbed. Good effort going forward and was unlucky not to score in the first half.

Maghoma 4: Send him back to the bench Gary! Didn’t know whether he was coming or going in the game. Should have stayed wide more often and stretched the game.

Donaldson 6: Was unlucky in the majority of his battles with the defenders and on another day he would have won a lot more from the ref. Here’s hoping!

Gray 5: Struggled to test Iorfa at right back but some runs were more successful than others. More end product needed.

Subs: Brock-Madsen (4), Cotterill (4), Toral (5).

Blues fans, do you think I am being too harsh or do you agree with my ratings? What would you have given the players following the disappointing defeat? Who was your Man of the Match? Let us know in the comment section down below!
