Birmingham City travelled to the New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon in search of three vital points, but in the end they had to settle for just one despite the home side ending the game with nine men.

Joe Mattock and Richard Wood saw red towards the end of the game, but unfortunately for Gary Rowett’s Blues, they were unable to break the deadlock throughout the game.

Blues had several chances but they only managed to hit the target three times during the 90+ minutes that were played.

The visitors were supported by over 2,600 fans but they were unable to send them home with huge smiles but we have to look at the positives, a point is a point, especially after Ipswich Town and Derby County dropped points.

Down below are the ratings that Vital Birmingham writer Luke Turner gave me after he enjoyed a day out in Rotherham.

Kuszczak: 7.

Shotton: 7.

Morrison: 7.

Robinson: 7 and Man of the Match.

Grounds: 5.

Gleeson: 6.

Kieftenbeld: 6.

Buckley: 5.

Toral: 6.

Maghoma: 6.

Donaldson: 6.

Substitutes: Solomon-Otabor (4), Fabbrini (N/A), Cotterill (N/A).
