Luke Turner singles out one player who could be the difference for Blues this Saturday…

Blues return to St Andrews to face Fulham on Saturday after picking up just one point from two away fixtures at Blackburn and Wolves last week.

For me, it is crucial that we win against Slavisa Jokanovic`s side as a draw or, even worse, a defeat could see us fall away from those play off places.

Someone who I think will be key in helping us get that victory is our winger Jacques Maghoma.

He came off the bench at Molineux last Sunday and helped change the game in Blues` favour as Gary Rowett`s side dominated the second period.

Most will also point out that he had a glorious chance to score against Wolves as he was put through on goal but then seemed to freeze at the vital moment.

However, he is the type of player who will look to make things happen and can produce a bit of magic out of nowhere to possibly win us the game.

We saw that ability against MK Dons at home when his turn fooled five defenders before he smashed home to win us all three points.

Fulham are in desperate need of a victory as they get ever closer to the relegation zone. So, I expect them to attack with the likes of McCormack and Dembele spearheading just that.

This could leave the West London side vulnerable at the back and I think Maghoma`s ability to turn defence into attack can be very advantageous to us.

Jokanovic’s side have leaked goals all season so there will be definitely a chance for Blues to grab one or two. However, we have been struggling for goals of late.

But, I just feel that Maghoma could be the man to add the extra spark and be the difference between the two sides whilst at the same time getting our goal scoring back on track.

His defensive work must also not go unnoticed and, with Fulham potentially playing with wing backs, he will also be important in regards to tracking back.
