Luke Turner singles out a player who could help get us back on track tomorrow…

With the deflating 2-1 defeat to Charlton on Saturday still ingrained in our minds, Blues must pick themselves up for the visit of Brighton to St Andrews tomorrow evening.

Play offs is now a huge ask for the team but we still need to get back to winning ways and see where it takes us.

It will be a tough game against Chris Hughton`s side who are chasing an automatic promotion spot. If we are to get anything from the game then I believe that Michael Morrison will be key to it.

As captain, it is part of his job to help lift the players again and lead by example. He will be up against some strong strikers so the benchmark can be set by halting them.

The likes of Tomer Hemed, Sam Baldock and James Wilson all provide The Seagulls with an array of talent to chose from and Morrison will be hoping to cut out any threat.

Whatever he does well can be followed by others on the pitch and he can rally the troops with his own personal performance.

I expect Hughton`s team to attack our defence and look to create opportunities. With Jamie Murphy and Anthony Knockaert on the wings, we could see plenty of balls aimed at Hemed.

Morrison and his centre back partner, whether it be Robinson or Spector, need to sniff out the danger and minimise the effect he has.

With the back four doing their job, it gives our attackers the chance to express themselves and hopefully win the game for us.

We can’t let our season dwindle down after it had been so promising. There are still eight games to go and we need to start with a win tomorrow.
