It has been well documented by many people that Blues have slipped into a mini slump, but a win against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night could solve some of their home woes.

Having lost three games so far at home this season. Rowett will be hoping to add to the wins Blues already have at home this season when they take on Gary Bowyer’s side on Tuesday.

Rovers currently don’t have the best record on the road this season, with only one win in their last seven outings. Their recent success against Leeds United was their first since the opening weekend of October.

On their travels, Blackburn have managed to score just seven goals, which equates to one goal a game, but they have also conceded ten, which swings in favour of Blues.

Having lost four games, drawing the other two, pre-match signs would point to a home win, but in the Championship, anything can happen and I wouldn’t rule out a score draw for this one.

Last season, when the two sides met at St.Andrews, it finished 2-2 and I can see a similar scoreline happening this time round.

In form striker Jordan Rhodes will be looking to add to his eight league goals that he has already got this season, double the amount of Blues forward Clayton Donaldson, and I think he could be the biggest threat to Rowett’s side.

Blues now only have a one point cushion on seventh placed Reading and a win against Rovers is a must if they want to maintain their status in the top six.

Every side in the league plays on Tuesday night and with the stand out game of the night being played out between Sheffield Wednesday and table toppers Brighton and Hove Albion, Blues will be hoping that a win against Bowyer’s side will slip under the radar.

Blues fans, how important do you think it is that Rowett’s men get a win on Tuesday night? Where do you think the game will be won or lost? Let us know in the comment section down below!
