Following two successive 2-0 wins on the road, Gary Rowett’s Birmingham City return to the hallowed turf of St.Andrews on Saturday and he will be hoping that the clubs turn in form will continue.

Looking at the fixture, many fans outside the club will be thinking that it is a sure win for Chris Ramsey’s side. However, if we take a look at how QPR have played on the road so far this season and how Blues have done at home, then some people may change their mind.

To begin with, my prediction for the game has always been 2-2 because personally I cannot see the two sides being separated. I also think that Demerai Gray will score his second goal of the season and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas will score against us.

But my prediction may count for nothing when we look at the stats for how each team has done in the opening ten games of the 2015/2016 championship campaign.

The visitors have had a mixed start to life back in the second tier of English football, winning four games, drawing three and losing three.

On the road, the Hoops have managed to net a total of seven points from a possible 15 that have been on offer. Many fans may look at that return as one that is fairly decent but I think if Blues take the game to them then we will be able to hopefully brush them aside.

In the five games that they have played away from home, Ramsey’s side have scored a total of five goals but they have also conceded nine goals, four of which came in their last game against Fulham.

Those figures suggest that the game could have a fair few goals, so if I was a betting man, I would most certainly have a go on both teams to score.

Looking at how the Blues have played in their games at home, results have varied, but on the whole we have performed to a relatively high standard.

In the five games that we have played at home, we have managed to score seven goals, but we have also let in the same amount. This stat suggests that Blues will more than likely score in the game, but they have a high chance of conceding as well.

With goals guaranteed in the game, I think that it isn’t going to be impossible for Blues to beat QPR and that they can beat them, but I think I will stick to my prediction of a draw as that may suit both sides down to the ground.

Blues fans, what do you think of my prediction? Who do you think will win the game, Blues or QPR? Let us know in the comment section down below!
