Lets get one thing straight from the off, Adnan Januzaj is never going to join Birmingham City, end of!
Yes it is nice to see us linked with a player of his ilk but come on Blues fans, this one never had any legs from the first breath of the rumour.
Just because a few betting companies have installed Gary Rowett’s side at 9/1 to sign the youngster, it doesn’t mean that there is any concrete behind the story.
This is simply just another rumour that has been put out there that has absolutely no meat on it at it is simply just something that has been plucked out of thin air.
Januzaj was on loan at German giants Borussia Dortmund earlier in the season but after making just six appearances for them, Manchester United recalled him and he could be heading back out on loan for the remainder of the season.
However, he would never step down into the Championship and even though in the past we have had a good relationship with United and loan deals, this one would never happen and fans are out of order if they even think that this one could be a potential deal for us.
Blues would never be able to afford the 20 year old’s wages for starters and there are probably a whole host of clubs in the Premier League or other top leagues around the world that would be interested in him and they would be ahead of Blues no doubt about it.
Although I think he would show real intent from Blues, it just doesn’t seem like something that would ever be plausible and for me it is a rumour that Blues fans shouldn’t pay attention to.
