Birmingham take on Brentford tonight, Gary Rowett’s side will be hoping to bounce back from two defeats in a row. Despite a positive start to the season, Birmingham will need to be on their toes in order to deal effectively with the opposition.

Alan Judge is one who I am singling out for attention. The attacking midfielder has the remit to go through the middle or out wide. The wide man has already provided 4 goals this season, scoring 3 and assisting 1.

Birmingham will certainly need to get tight to Judge, as his passing ability is well recognised. So closing down his space and time will be important tonight. He is currently registering 3.4 key passes per game in the Championship.

As the game ticks on it is the key passers and added quality that comes to the fore-front. With space opening up as legs tire, Judge will see his opportunities to affect the game increase.

The 26 year old, signed for Brentford on a free transfer from Blackburn in 2014. He has since made 63(4) league appearances for the Bees, scoring 12 goals.
