Birmingham City club captain Paul Robinson is likely to sign a one year contract extension in the summer.

Harry Redknapp is the fourth Blues manager to prioritise the 38 year-old’s inclusion in the first team with his experience seen as a major asset on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Blues’ squad will have different look about it next season regardless of what division they are in and what manager is at the helm.

Yet the club’s hierachy are keen to keep Robbo at St. Andrews as a player coach for at least one more year.
