The Football Association have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City this Saturday.

Huddersfield Town host Birmingham City on Saturday January 27 for the FA Cup fourth Round tie at the John Smith’s Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: Michael McDonough and Daniel Leach
Fourth Official: Darren Drysdale

Match Day referee Swarbrick has officiated 16 games in 2017/18, showing 43 yellow cards so far.

He took in 34 games in 2016/17 with a return of 126 yellow cards and three red cards.

His highest card count that season was six yellows and one red in the game between Swindon Town and Bolton Wanderers. He achieved the same in the Hull City and Newcastle United game in the EFL Cup.

He took in 35 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 98 yellow cards and seven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Sunderland and West Ham on October 3 a total of seven yellows being shown and one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
