Too many chefs spoiling the broth?
That seemed to be the debate that Birmingham City fans were having on social media after the latest reported target was revealed.
According to a report in All Nigeria Soccer, Blues are just one of the teams that are interested in bringing in Korede Adedoyin after he was released by Everton this summer. The Nigerian winger was recently on loan with Scottish side Hamilton Academicals, but couldn’t quite crack the first-team during his time there.
He’s had more success in at youth level in England though, smashing in plenty of goals for the Everton U18 side, so he clearly knows where the net is, but whether or not he can translate that into anything at senior level is a different matter.
How much will Blues spend in this window?
More than £15m
£15m or less
However, there was a bit of a discussion on social media about whether or not we actually needed him (as is usual with most transfer stories), but a large part of the debate centered on the idea of how many wingers we have in our ranks.
Now isn’t really the time to take risks on young unproven players that have only played under 18s football and couldn’t even make it into the Hamilton team.

they’re dross, only ones really worthy of first team is maybe Bailey and Gordon imo. The others just can’t seem to make the step up.

but obviously you need 2 wingers, you can’t just have a winger on one side that would be weird

What about you? Do you think he’d be a good addition?
