Novak: I Want to Give Something Back to The Fans

Lee Novak has revealed that he is delighted to of scored his first ‘proper’ goal in a Blues shirt. He has a point, as a striker confidence is everything and his previous two goals would not have given him a huge boost.

Novak scored his first actual goal with a well struck volley to make it 1-1 against Derby last time out.

The other two, as you will remember, one was a walk in against Yeovil and the second was a last touch from a Zigic header against Bolton.

“It was nice to get a good goal and hopefully it will help me and the team will start to get up the league’.

Goals always change a game, players on both teams react to a score change, lets hope they can carry the goals into future fixtures.

“I want to give something back to the fans, who have been with us and brilliant all season’.

I think every Blues fan is fed up on what’s going on and that is undeniably clear to the players when they are making statements like this.

‘The manager just said ‘go on and get a goal`’.

I think Lee Clark is now going to be saying ‘just win lads’ at the start of the game, who knows? it could work! football is as easier as that right?
